A new site for birding


We moved from Mission, TX to Harlingen, TX and were pleased to find a very active birding park nearby.  This park has a lot of wetlands, so there are more shorebirds.  Some of these — such as the Pink Spoonbill — are large and graceful in flight.  Here are some pictures.

      Sorry to be late, but at the moment my main camera is a Sony a77. I am testing a Fuji X-S1 — much easier to carry and a huge lens. I also have an Olympus XZ-1 that is pocketable. The camera depends on where I am and what I expect to take pictures of.
